A new home. A fresh start. A little help along the way.

Kind, science-based training for adopted dogs and the people who love them.

Whether you’re welcoming a shelter dog, helping a worried dog feel safer, or wondering how to keep up with all that energy, I can help you understand your dog and find practical ways forward.

Hi, I’m Kathleen.

I’m a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner, a biologist, and a shelter volunteer with a particular love for rescue dogs. I bring together the science of learning, hands-on shelter experience, and personal experience living with fearful and reactive dogs.

My goal is to help you understand the dog in front of you, build trust, and develop skills that make everyday life better for you both. Along the way, there’s plenty of room for play, tricks, and discovering what your dog loves.

In-home training in Stamford, Bethlehem, and surrounding communities.
